1.2080 is an air hardening, high carbon high chromium, alloy tool steel with excellent resistance to abrasion and wear. 1.2080 has good through hardening characteristics combined with dimensional stability with high resistance to tempering.

Hot working:
Forging temperature range: 1100-850℃
Note: Heat to 1180 ℃. Do not forge below 850.
